Committed with the scientific community to the safe leap in cognitive development
to accelerate positive neuroplasticity and improve the brain's ability, Alfes focuses on developing applied methods
for faster peaks of cognitive exponential growth and neural feedback loops towards
complex problem-solving, adaption, memory upgrades, and creative originality.
In her expert-intersection between life sciences and advanced technologies, she parallel aims at applying
those models to enhance H-AI ethical bio-model interactions.
The huge challenges organizations face:
We now experience a transition that demands collaboration within diverse fields more closely than ever. The main challenge is not primarily technological: it is the critical need for meaningful and effective communication among multicultural and interdisciplinary teams. These ecosystems arouse new "significant frictions".
Alfes has realized this current imperative during her thesis "Doctor-to-Doctor in Digital Communication"
(FHWien/ 2021), where specialists - applied theorists and formal scientists - often experience results´ delay due to the variant cultural- signals & lexicon fragmentation. She came up with the insight: by addressing the multidisciplinary nexus in the intersection of intercultural communication, neurocyberpsychology, and scientific lexicon (translating theory into formal models), we can build a strategic framework that accelerates and strengths trust and collaboration with high efficacy.
Confident about the immense value-communication environs, Alfes highlights the urge in new models for inter-disciplinary crossroads to meet the demands for ethical trust models, sovereignty integrity, and international alliances.

Metacognitive Engineering as the Framework for H-AI Co-Operation
The Mission: Engineering "Die Brücke" (The Bridge)
Alfes’s mission addresses the primary challenges of the AI Revolution: the need to advance the field of metacognition for exponential growth in problem-solving, multicultural cooperation and creative originality. Moreover, the fragmented academic lexicons of siloed human expertise.
Those gaps, now amplified by generative AI (LLMs), prevents the integrated solutions that complex systems demand. This mission posits that sustainable value is not found in the trend of the pursuit of "quality of life", and traditional theories of trust. But rather, in the rigorous application of systemic engineering ("Die Brücke") to Cognitive Architecture.
Her concept of metacognitive engineering operates at the intersection of Life Sciences and Cognitive Sciences through a multidisciplinary approach that englobes neuropsychology and engineering principles
by applying the same foundations to Cognitive Architecture that Life Sciences apply to the genome.
This framework moves beyond conventional "collaboration" to the engineerinf of High-Trust for the interdisciplinary "Co-Operation Eusystem" required for H-AI navigation.
Headquartered in Germany (GDPR) and anchored in Europe (FHWien/Oxford), and U.S research (MIT/Harvard), ViSP-Lab partners with Brazil as a platform for ethical, replicable, and scalable pilot programs to meet the accelerate demand for highg quality products and services beyond the evolution of Human-AI interaction.
Alfes´s multidisciplinary synthesis in track record (practice) and qualifications (theory) is the outcome
of a framework initiated nine years ago of advanced research - refined since 2024 during her post-graduate training that received full faculty endorsement at Harvard University.
